Marta Martinez Hasty, LCSW
Marta Martinez, Founder of Miami Mental Health Group, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in treating adolescents, adults, and couples. She has dedicated her career to treatment of both mild and severe mental health challenges including PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, OCD, and complex trauma. Specifically, she acted as director of Project GOLD, serving youth ages 11-18 that are high-risk or survivors of human trafficking. In this role, Marta assisted in creating wrap-around services including therapy, case management, survivor mentorship, and group services. Within the time Marta served as director, the program was awarded program of the year by The Children’s Trust. Prior to accepting the role as director, Marta served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Kristi House, South Florida’s first Child Advocacy Center, maintaining avid involvement in children that have experienced trauma and abuse in our community. Marta, additionally, has many years of experience in private practice treating a wide array of mental health disorders in adults, children, and couples. Marta has a commitment to bettering the lives of those she works with through collaborative goal-setting with her clients. Marta enjoys traveling with her family and hiking the world’s most beautiful mountains and trails.
Dominique Hardy, MSW
Dominique Hardy, an Associate Clinician for Miami Mental Health Group, received her Master’s in clinical social work from Florida International University in 2022, following her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami in 2017. Dominique began working in complex trauma and human trafficking for youth ages 11-20 in 2018. After witnessing the need for mental health professionals for youth with complex trauma, and PTSD, many being part of the foster care system, she decided to pursue her degree in clinical social work. Since, she has continued offering services for children and families that have experienced trauma, resulting in mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Additionally, Dominique provided services for adults who were incarcerated and aided in reducing recidivism rates through therapy, case management, and program development.
Dominique now has years of experience working as a therapist and has provided services to youth and young adults in various schools in South Florida including Belen, Gulliver, Carrolton, and Epiphany. She has experience in depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, complex trauma, and grief. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Since moving to Miami in 2013, Dominique has been committed to uplifting the community through mental health services and volunteer work, including mentoring and tutoring inner-city youth with various non-profit organizations in South Florida. Dominique is a singer and songwriter in her free time and loves integrating music into her practice.
